How To Solve Your 3 Biggest Laundry Storage Problems

Nobody likes doing the laundry.

The machines may do the washing and drying, but you have to lug everything around, fold it and put it away.

And if you have a small laundry room (or a laundry closet), then you know the pain of finding room for your laundry accessories. Fortunately, we have a few innovative solutions to help!

1. A Rolling Cart

If you have a small or awkwardly-shaped space, a rolling cart is a flexible option which holds a lot of stuff. You can easily store stain removers, dryer sheets and other laundry accessories.

2. Storage Baskets

How would you like to have a designated place for all those left behind socks, rather than just laying them across your dresser? Baskets are a fun, convenient way to add storage and a decorative flair to your laundry room. Personalize these inexpensive baskets with labels so everyone in the family knows what goes where.

3. A Place To Fold

Let’s be honest. How many times have you taken clean clothes from the dryer and piled them on the bed (or worse, the living room floor) because those are the only places with enough room to fold? Install a slim shelf on top of your washer and dryer to create more folding space. Just make sure you can still reach the appliance controls.

And just like that, you have storage! Doing the laundry may not be your favorite chore, but it can be more functional and organized. We hope these ideas solve your storage problems and make your chores a little easier.

Jump Into Spring With A New Dishwasher

You’re ready.

It’s spring cleaning time.

You swept the patio, washed the floors, cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed and dusted. Your house looks sparkly and fresh. The last thing on your to-do list is washing the dishes. You load the dishwasher, turn it on and relax on the couch with a glass of wine.

After a well-deserved Netflix binge, you go to the kitchen...and then you feel it.

Water underneath your feet!

Dirty, soapy dishwasher water covers the kitchen floor. Ugh!

A broken dishwasher will not only spoil your day, but your cleaning efforts, too.

Don’t wait for your dishwasher to break down. Pay attention to the warning signs and replace your dishwasher before it causes you all sorts of heartache.

Frigidaire has a modern, sleek dishwasher with an OrbitClean Wash System, which has 4x better wash coverage than other models. Your dishes and utensils will look and feel completely clean with no residue left behind.

Don’t let a broken dishwasher ruin your day or your kitchen. A new dishwasher will give you peace of mind all year long.

Spring Cleaning For Your Kitchen

We’re ready to jump into spring and leave winter in the rear view mirror. Say goodbye to heavy jackets, woolly sweaters and snow boots...and hello to sunshine, gardening and spring cleaning.

How about you?

Depending on the state of your house, you may not like spring cleaning.

But for the tried and true spring cleaners out there, do you ever empty your fridge?

Unfortunately, refrigerators are often left out of the spring cleaning process. That leads to the inevitable discovery of an unrecognizable food from so long ago you can’t read the expiration date anymore.

This year, we invite you to take spring cleaning one step further. If your refrigerator isn’t bringing you joy (thank you, Marie Kondo!), it may be time for a new one. Purge your old fridge and find something which brings you — and your kitchen — joy.

We are offering a Whirlpool refrigerator which is simple, clean and fulfills your storage needs. The four door bins and multiple shelves provide ample storage, with even more space in the top freezer.

Embrace the spring cleaning season and the joy it will bring you, your home and family.

The Best Dining Room Table For Entertaining

You love to entertain.

Parties, family dinners, last-minute get-togethers: you do it all.

Nothing compares to the thrill of prepping food, decorating and deciding on the theme for your event. It’s your happy place.

That is, until everyone (tries) to gather at the table.

Your dining room table is small, dingy and a little wobbly. It’s time for an upgrade.

At West Coast Appliance and Furniture we have many fabulous dining sets. But our favorite is this beauty from Modus Furniture International. The table is crafted from 2” thick planks of Acacia wood and powder-coated iron. It’s sealed with a clear lacquer to preserve the natural wood grain.

Now if that doesn’t say masterpiece, we don’t know what does.

With 6 chairs, you’ll have enough seating to accommodate family, friends and drop-in guests.

You are already the ultimate entertainer. Now you will have the table to match the title.

The Best Furniture For Your Bedroom

When’s the last time you looked at your bedroom furniture?

We mean, really looked at it?

You love most of your pieces. They’re a mix of precious family heirlooms and newer purchases which reflect your personal style.

But your bed frame is old, squeaky, scuffed and dingy. You try to enhance it with beautiful sheets, duvet covers and pillows, but the frame detracts from everything. You spend as little time as possible in your bedroom and avert your gaze whenever you climb into bed.

Your bedroom is your sanctuary. It should be a haven of relaxation. But how can it be an oasis with that ugly bed frame staring you in the face?

Well, worry no more!

At West Coast Appliance and Furniture, the Element Platform Bed from Modus International Furniture exudes style, functionality and comfort. The dark chocolate brown finish complements every style and will look great in any bedroom — especially yours!

It’s time to move up and replace that old bed frame with something new and fabulous. Visit our store today and find the right bed frame for your style.
