18 years ago today, the lives of countless
people were changed forever after the events of September 11, 2001.
If you were a child, you remember teachers
trying to explain the inexplicable and attempt to soothe the scared and
confused students in their classrooms.
If you were an adult, you remember what you
were doing, where you were and how you felt when you heard about the attacks or
watched the footage on the news.
No matter how many years pass, we will never
forget those we lost, or the heroic first responders who braved the dangerous
unknown to help and save others.
Today, we remember the moment which changed us
all and honor those we lost.
