3 Simple and Easy Mother’s Day Gifts

Mother's Day gift ideas

Mothers are the heartbeat of a family. They keep everything running smoothly and on schedule. The home, kids; you name it, mom has it handled. This Sunday, West Coast Appliance and Furniture wants you to treat mom like royalty. She should feel like a queen for the day. But rather than buy a card from the grocery store, here are three gift ideas we know mom will love.

1.    Breakfast in bed
This is a classic which has been around for generations. Who doesn’t remember carrying orange juice and expertly toasted bread up to mom, who’s waiting patiently in bed? Some of you are master chefs and can whip up an all-star breakfast. If you haven’t mastered that level of cooking, don’t worry. If your breakfast is made with love, mom will enjoy it.

2.    Clean the house
Moms often take the reigns when it comes to cleaning the house and other chores. How nice would it be if you vacuumed, did the laundry, cleaned the bathroom...or all of the above? We know mom would go wild over a clean house. This Sunday, grab the mop, broom and duster, put on your rubber gloves and prepare to clean. After all, a clean house is a happy house -- and that makes mom happy, too!

3.    Homemade card
Let’s face it; greeting cards are expensive. This year, gather the kids and create Mother’s Day cards from scratch. Use your favorite paper and decorate with crayons, markers, stickers, glitter and anything else you can think of. Write a special, heartfelt message rather than relying on the pre-written ones that come in a card. This is a good project for the entire family, and we know mom will cherish her homemade card forever.

Mother’s Day is coming up quickly. If you haven’t thought of how to celebrate the moms in your life, we hope these ideas help and inspire you.

And to all the mothers out there: Happy Mother’s Day!
